The Baptist Churcü of Miytóle, Ind„ on a recent Sunday secured ïuflda a&d subscriptions to the amount of $18,000 to cancel an embarraseing debt. A handsome new church haa been built for the 'colored Episcopalians of Omaha, by the wife of the bishop, at a cost of $17,000, and a young colored preacher of much ablllty minieters to them. Mrs. J. A, Meenk, oL Alto, Wis., lately deceased, left her entlre estáte to the Council of Hope College (Relonned), the income from whlch Is to be used for the asBlstance of students studylng for the ininistry. The Congregational Churoh, of eraron, Vt., recelves $5,000 by tho wlll of the late Dr. E. K. Baxter, oL that .place.
