Louisville, Ky.. Deo. 29.- Governor Bradley has bad severa] companies of the Second Regiment of the state militla praetically imder arras for fortyeight hours, owing to the fear that an attempt wouM be made to lynch Johnson líowe, Ihe negro held at Paris for the murder of Poliroman Charles Lacey at Cynthiana. The governor is supí posed to cali out the mllltia only at the request of the sheriff, but there have been so many lynch ings reoently and the sheriffs have been so inactive that Governor Bradley has pre;iared to act on his own responslbllity. 'Diere are still rnmors that a mob may visit Paris, but it is s:ife to predtet that they Wil meet with :i warm reeeption.
