R. systern in the worldrho articles were filed by Hon. Harry Probaeco, as counsel of the company, and Cbief Clerk Kiuney of the office of Secretary of State, at onco issued the charter. The projection contemplates the makiny of an olectric road of the entiro Cincinnati, Hamilton and Dayton Railway systern, between Cincinnati and Toledo. The new company is to be known as the U. H. & D. Traction Company and under the articles of ineorporation it is authorized to lease, owti. acquii'e, build, opérate, or maintain, eithtr alone or in conjunction with auy street, suburban or interurban railways to be operated by electricity Steam, or any other motive power to do a freigbt and passenger business. The capital stock of the company is róO.ÜÜO,00, in $1ÜO shares. The incorporatora are, C. (i. Waluo, D. (i. Edwards, Geo. K. Balch, R. P. Rifenberiek aud O. A. Wilson. Tho capital stook of tho company, while smaU, it is expected will tne enlarged very materially at a later date, the object being for the first operation to equip the line Detween Miduletown aud Hamilton, which can be done at a very small expense, the track and road bed being all complete. Prom the experience acquired in this initial plant, the development of the line of (J. H. & D. Ry., between Cincinnati and Hamilton, and al3o other pointa, will be carried on. 51
