Brooks bave a ten pound boy. J. T. St Clair and D. B. Cheever went to Chicago, Monday. E. F. Mills returned.Saturday from his vacation at Bayfield. Miss Blanche Jacobs is visiting at the home of Judge Moore in Lansirg. Mrs.. W. W. Watts is again in tovvn after a lengthy visit at Grand Rapids. Doctor J. G. Lynds has returned to this city after an absence of six weeks. S. P. Orth who has been in Cleveland for the past few weeks is again in town. Mayor Hiscock has returned from his vacation outing at the Keystone club house. Dan Carroll subscription agent lor the Detroit Journal spent Sunday in this city. Frank S. Francois and wife will leave today for a three weeks' outing at North Lake. Mrs O. E. Jones and Miss Edith Atkins went to Ann Arbor this morning for a visit with relatives. J. dr. Haliplian. of the Ohio Naval Academyj a school founded by himöelf was in the city Monday. Miss Einily Hayley, of Mills and Company's store, is speuding a two week's vadation at Jackson. Charles Meyers, foreman in The Eegister office has returnad from a two weeks' outing on the lakes. A. H. and J. G. Pattingill, of Ann Arbor, registered at the Cushman yesterday.- Petoskey Kesorter. Stevens, formerly an employee of Reinhait, the shoo maa, Icfl last week for Flint where he will sell shoes for O. D. Elmer. The Missos May Drinkwater and Lizzie Matchett left the city this morning for a few days' visit in Chelsea and Ann Arbor. - Lansing Republiean. VanValkenburg and her daughters, Lisia and Marjorie, returned Monday from Loog Lake, near Flint where they have been spending some time. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Anton, of Cone, Mich , who have been visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Geromiller for a week drove to Hamburg yesterday with their host and hostess and returned home today.
