Christian Endeavorers Meet

The first conference of the Michigan districts of the united societies of the Christian Endeavor was held in the Bethlehem church of this city Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. Seven pastors, and over fifty delectes from the several societies of the State were here attending the convention. The first day was given up largely to welcoming visitors and getting acquainted. In the evening, prayer was offered by J. Rehfuss, following which the pastor gave the address of welcome which was responded to by Kev. J. Berner, of Buffalo. Wednesday 's session was opened with prayer by Mr. L. Mogk. The rest pf the day was given up to addresses by visiting pastors. Those prominent on the program were: Pastors J. Berner, of Buffalo; Ostloff, of Mu9kegon; Hildner, of Detroit; Schoen of Watervliet; Schmid, of Wyandotte ; R. Boutler of Delray. The work of the convention was very enthusiastic and will be productivo of muchgood.
