Michigan men fatled to wake up in Saturday's game, and made no score ag-ainst the Ohio Wesleyan Uulverslty foot ball team. Their opponeuts wore strong and heavy men that knew how to play, white Micbigan's men were lirhter and did not seera able to g-et down to busine3s until the last three minutes. Then they took a wQnderful brape, but too late io save the gama. Miehigan's BhowlDg was nol bad, for the men kept their heads and tempera when most severely tried by the ungentlemanly eonduct of their adversarios. The game was a disgraceful exhibition clear through. The vlsiting team, wincii was made up partly of professionals, slugged, fouled and wrang-led f rom start to Ihiish. The tröuble began when Mk.higa.rj men objeoted to ost, who played on the Lafayette team four ye&rB, and is now coaching for Delaware. The manager gave his word that Yost would not enter the game, but when his team came frotn the dressing-room Yost was in foot ball gai-mpU, while a "sub" wore bis i(L" sweater aad stood just outside the Une, During the game the man with the "L" was poiuted o Yost, and otily at the Cniah waa the fact revaled that Michigan had been U-ieked, and that Yost híví heen la the game. Slugging bogan early and was freely resorted to by the Wesleyans, but their most exasperating trick was to steal the ball. Repeatedly time was oalled with the pigkin in Michigan' poosúsgion, but some Delaware man would drop on it. What the final Jine-up of the team will be_-is uncertain. Hogg and Pingree are pracüeally certain to be the halfbacks. Richards is sure of quavter and Bennett will unquestionably be end or guard. Juttner and Snow are the most promising tackles, and Teetzel, who is cortainly a wonder, has a "cinch" on one end. Lehr is a pi-omisiog man for gaard.
