York, of tliis city, bas Deen chosen organist and choiruiaster of Christ cnurch, to tucceed fFelix Lamond, called to fill the distinguished josition of organist and choirmaster of Irinity church, New York city- said be the richcst church Corporation in ;he world. For several years Mr. York has been organist at the Cass Avenue M. E. church. At the former church he conducted a boy choir, an unusual feature fora Methodist church. The music committee of Christ church heard Mr. York and his boy choir, and were so well pleased that they at once made him an offer.
