Cali a special session of the Common Council to be held at the Council Chamber Monday, November 8th, 1897, at 7:30 p. m., to consider the report of the Street and Sidewalk Committees. Chas. E. Your Committee on Sidewalks would recommend that the grade of the sidewalk on the eastside of Detroit between División and Depot streets, be changed and herewith submit the proper rcsolution fixing and establishing the same. Moore, Hamilton, Kocli, Dell, Sweet, Brown, Vandawarker, Rhodes, Spathelf, Danforth, Cady, Pres. Luick- 12. Nays- None. RESOLUTION. Whereas, in the opinión of the Council the grade of the sidewalk on the east side of Detroit St., ought to be changed aDd flxed and eatablished to the end that such street may be suitable for public travel. Therefore. Resolved, and it is hereby ordered that the grade of the sidewalk on and along the east side of Detroit St., f rom the east line of División St., to the south line oí JJepoi ai., ue, uu mo same is hereby changed, fixed and 68tablislied, so that the grade of said sidewalk on and along the street aforesaia shall be as folio ws, that is to say: At n. e. cor. División and Detroit St., 806 50 ft. . . . At 20 ft. north of n. e. cor. División and Detroit St., 806.00 ft. At 40 ft. north of u. e. cor. División and Detroit St.. 805.00 ft. At 60 ft. north of n. e. cor. División and Detroit St., 803.30 ft. . At 101 ft. north of n. e. cor. División and Detroit St., 802 00 ft. At south line.of Depot St., 8i.00 ft. the elevation given being above the official city datum and alonar the center line of such walk, and the grade hnes to consiat of straight lines botween the several points above stated. To tlie ConsmoH Council: Your Committee on Sidewaiks recommend that the following sidewaiks be repaired. On thelsoutlieast sid e of Detroit along old street car property. On the west side of S. lst, between Washington and Liberty. On the north side of E. Ann along G reene 's hole. Also that a plank crosswalki be constructed on the south side of ton across 3rd. And that the plank erossvvalk on 1he soutli side of Washington across let be repaired. Also plow out glitter on 3rd froqa Washington, south. Respectfully submitted, P. M.
