Description

Kyunghee Kim reads from her new collection of poems for young people, See Us Bloom. An inspiring and comforting collection of poems that will take kids on a journey to discover their own identities, find inner strength, and learn to love themselves—and one another. Filled with gracefully simple poems and vibrant, lyrical illustrations, all kids will be able to find a piece of themselves reflected within the pages of this book.

Kyunghee Kim is a writer, poet, and a public school educator. She is interested in exploring both our personal and collective belonging and becoming. Often drawing on her own Korean American experiences, Kyunghee is dedicated to expansive stories and honoring our identities. Kyunghee writes for both kids and adults. \*

Emily Paik is an illustrator based in South Korea, where she lives with her two dogs. Since graduating from Columbus College of Art and Design with a BFA in illustration, Emily has worked on animation projects, including the Netflix series _Carmen Sandiego_. She gathers inspiration from the colors and shapes of nature. In her free time, Emily loves to go on adventures with her dogs.
