Drug Help, Inc., which oper-j ates Ozone House at 302 E. Liberty as a round-the-clock facility for persons seeking aid on drug problems, is the author of a new booklet entitled "Drugs: Information for Crisis TreatmentV- The 24-page booklet with I bibliography lists and 1 scribes the pure drugs and I street drugs and their effects, I and tells what to do and what I not to do for drug-induced emergency "freak - outs," overdoses and poisoning. On sale at 50 cents per I copy, it may be obtained by mail from Drug Help, Inc., P.O. Box 366, Ann Arbor, 48108, or at the organization's Liberty St. address. Lampe writes in the booklet's introduction that "This manual is organized to present first specific information on the drug groupings, f olio wed by information on acute treatment and concludes with a small section on I ment of continuing drug taking problems (drug dependence) " He points out, however, nat it does not provide complete answers to aU questions involving crisis I ment, serving mainly asan introduction by providing a core of useful information upon which to build." The author also notes that "the same drugs may not atfect everyone the same way, and that "tolerance" can be built up by repeated use to make larger doses necessary to achieve the same results.
