The Parenx-Teacher Organization board of Dixboro School presented a survey I concerning the school's building needs last night at the Ann Arbor Board of Education meeting. According to results, the group said, most parents feel that their children's education is lacking academically and physically due to the poor school plant provided by the district. "Dixboro presently has more portable classrooms than it does regular classrooms," said one parent. Another commented that the Dixboro parents were tired of I their tax money being used for other buildings. Board President Harold Locker told them "we cannot promise anything . . . everything depends on the millage and bonding issue." Lockett also said that everyone must be interested in the improvement of all schools in the district if the issue is going to pass. o o A proposal a s k i n g the school board to support the Birds Hill Park expansión project was presented by Trustee Paul Carrington for board consideration. The proposal was placed on the] agenda for the next regular meeting.
