School Supt. R. Bruce McPherson formally recommended last night at the Ann Arbor Board of Education meeting six appointments to I the administration. The board approved the appointments. Named assistant superintendent for field operations was David Trost who was previously the principal of Eberwhite School. Steven Daniels, a graduate of the University of Michigan and Temple University and a former teacher in the Philadelphia school system, was appointed director of curriculum planning. The acting principal at Bach School, Florence Gasdick, was named principal of the school. Other appointments included Dr. Frederick Holliday, as deputy superintendent for operations; Philip Mcllnay, deputy superintendent for planning; and Mildred Bautista, assistant to the superintendent. These three recommendations had also been made to the board earlier but were formally approved last night.
