Pólice Cfíief Walter.Straiiiy said foday warrants have been issued for four Hurón High School students and five Juvenile Court petitions have been filed against other students who were involved in disturbances at the school two weeks ago. The chief said nine additional warrants or juvenile petitions are being scught. He said parents are being contacted and asked to come into pólice headquarters with their sons or daughters for formal court arraignment. Those teen-agers who do not come in will be picked up on the warrants, the chief said. Krasny said an investigation of disturbances last week at Pioneer High School is continuing. He said a belief that "outside agitators" were involved in the incidents at both schools had been disproved through his department's investigation. "The only outsiders involved students from one high school showing up at the otber," the chief said. "Other than that there was no outside influences - it was slrictly the student body of the particular school." He urged persons who have information on any incident at any city school to contact Detective Staff Sgt. Eddie Owens of Police-Community Relations Lt. Kenneth G. Klinge at pólice headquarters. Krasny also urged parents, black and white, to step in and take corrective action against their school-age children who may be involved in school disturbances. He said some parents appear to , have placed the entire burden of discipline and correction on school authorities or the pólice.
