The Ann ArborTBoard of Education unanimously approved the designation of Supt. W. Scott Westerman Jr., Director of Personnel Thad Carr, and Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent Richard Creal as its new negotiating team last night. The composition of the team was changed from three School Board trustees to three administrative officials at the recommendation of consultants from Indiana University. They have already met with the Ann Arbor Teachers Association (AATA) at the regularly scheduled negotiating session Tuesday. o o Roger Swanson, chairman of the Ann Arbor High foreign languages department, presented a slide showing of the schoolsponsored trip to Paris prior to the general board meeting. Board attorney Roscoe O. Bonisteel Jr. and attorney Richard B. Bailey reported to the trustees on the ruling by Circuit Judge William F. Ager last Thursday that the Ann Arbor Public Schools' "general fees, as presently established," are illegal In the same opinión Ager said textbooks should continue to be furnished by the students, and parents will not be reimbursed for general feesi they have paid thus far. o o Board members were invited to attend the AA Club All Sports Banquet for seniors at Ann Arbor High May 28. o o Trustee Charles H. Good was the only board member absent during the majority of last night's five and one-half hour session.
