City District Enrolls 19,929

The Ann Arbor School District has an enrollment this fall of 19,929 students, according to tentative figures reported by the Washtenaw County Intermediate School District. . Final figures will be compiled; from forms to be submitted by Oct. 17. The enrollment tally reported is from figures taken by a "Fourth Friday" count conducted Sept. 26. Other school districts and their enrollments are: Ypsilanti, 7,865; Chelsea, 2,489; Dexter, 2,121; Lincoln, 2,339; Manchester, 1,231; Milan, 2,742; 1 Saline, 2,505; Whitmore Lake. 1,141, and Willow Run, 4,379.
