No decisions were made at the Saturday meeting of the Annl Arbor School District administration staff but the time was well spent since the meeting presented the first opportunity for the staff to step back and put the week's events at Huron High School in perspective, according to John Hubley, community services officer for the Ann Arbor schools. "No decisions were made at the two-hour meeting because the administrative staff has a deep conviction that there must be more and a deeper involvement by all of the affecteJ groups before any decisions are made," Hubley said. The same group will meet again tonight: Supt. W. Scott Westerman Jr., Assistent Superintendent íor Instruction Samuel Sniderman, Human Relations Director Ronald Edmonds, Huron High Principal Paul Meyer and Hubley. When asked if any decisions would be made at this meeting, Hubley said he was not in a position to eomment on that point since additional inflo ws of information and feelings were expected f rom the numerous meetings taking place to- day. Westerman will attend and answer questions during a regular NAACP meeting at 5 p.m. today in the Community Center, 625 N. Main. At 1 p.m. this afternoon a meeting wil! be held between a representative committee of the Huron High faculty cirriculum committee, faculty members of the bi-racial committee and the Huron High human relations team. Hubley faid he wanted to emphasize that school wpl be open and classes will be conducted on Monday. A meeting of a group of black parents was also held Saturday at the Northside Elementary School where Edmonds, Meyer and Westerman were all in attendance to answer questions. Four evaluations were made at the administrative staff ing Saturday, according to 1 ley: (1) the administration's great appreciation for the 1 dents' self discipline and 1 ity to work together in an 1 derly manner; (2) the evident need lor improving communication between all groups - the black student union, the student body, the iaculty and párents; (3) a continuing need to explore the list of demands presented by black students this week; and (4) the need for devising ways to bring all these four parties into the decisión making process.
