Council To Get Park Site Data

Reports onTJark land acquisition, the city's Transportation ' thority and various road proB.s will be the major items r discussion at today's 7:30 p.m. meeting of the City Council. Tonight's session is a working committee meeting but a special meeting will be held to handle a proposed zoning change and purchase of property on Geddes needed for the relocation of Forest Ave. The property in question is located at 1354 and 1352 Geddes, near Strickland's Grocery Store and lan adjacent apartment building. Also at the special meeting, the council will act to award contracts for improvements on ÍS. Seventh and on Ellsworth Rd. and pass a resolution urging the placing of a one-mill tax issue for county road improvements on the Nov. 5 ballot.
