Robben Fleming, üniversity esident, has accepted the ile of honorary chairman for t. Joseph Mercy Hospitai's ouilding campaign, Sister Mary Yvonne, hospital executive director, announced. The official campaign chairman will be Howard Holmes, chief executive of Chelsea Milling Co. and long-time par ticipant in St. Joseph's programs. The new hospital ís being built on a W. Hurón River Drive site in Superior I Township. "It give me tremendous I satisfaction to welcome Presiden Fleming as St. Joseph's I honorary campaign chairIman," Holmes said. "This Idistinguished action by one of I the most respected men in the I state is a measure of the comImitment we all feel toward St. JosepW future ín tommunity." Fleming commented, "St. Joseph's is everybody's hospital, made so by the cooperative participation of all members of the Ann Arbor community - individuals and groups alike. To my knowledge this is the first time in modern history that this community has been asked to undertake a fund raising effort for its community hospital. We now are privileged to participate in this, a major program of continuing improved Holmes indicated that the campaign would gain moment turn during the next few weeks, launching into a public fund drive in 1974. With I St. Joseph's lead, we believe I this área will become a I prehensive health care center suited to the community's needs for the next half century." ___
