Aiterborweeküa dfel-a-rWbé? ■ system, whicn provides door-step to doorI step.service, will be expanded beginning I Monday to include the entire northeast I area of the city. v Not included in the expansión will be I North Campus, according to the Ann ArI bor Transportation Authority. H The new area seved is generally I bounded by the Ann Arbor city limits on ■ the North, US-23 on the East, the Huron I River on the South, and the North Cam■ pus on the West. Available destinations include ■ Plymouth Mali, the Plymouth-Green I Shopping Center, Veteran's Administra■ tion Hospital, Hurón High School, Clague I School, King School, St. Paui's School, I Green Hills School, North Campus Plaza, I Conrcordia Lutheran Junior College, and I the Lutheran Retirement Center. Persons wishing to travel between ad■ dresses in the new Dial-A-Ride service I area and other parts of Ann Arbor will I be served by coordinated transfers with I the Ann Arbor Transportation AuI thority's PlymouthBriarwood Express I Bus at Plymouth Mali and Huron High. I The transfers are arranged so that there I is no waiting outside. The fare for Dial-A-Ride is 25 cents I with half fare available for senior citiI zens over 60 and qualified low-income H persons. Transfers to other Ann Arbor I Transportation Authority services are ■ f ree. One of the features available on Ann [ Arbor Transportation Authority Dial-AI Ride is the standing order. Persons travI eling to and from the same point on a I regular basis may book a standing order I for piek up at the same time every day. AATA also anriounced that because of I the improved dial-a-ride service and the I 15 minutes frequëncy of the express bus, the former Plymouth Road line bus, will I be discontinuad as of Sept. 3. Persons who are now regular riders on that bus should cali the Ann Arbor Transportation Authority dispatcher to set up a standing order. Because the U-M provides free bus ser vice in the University's North Campus area, dial-a-ride will not serve addresses in North Campus during weekday operaI tion. ' m
