The hiring of a financial consulting service for two years at a cost of $15,960 a year, will be recommerded to the County Board of Supervisors Tuesday. Board Chairman Robert M. Harrison ol Saline said the supervisors are faced with building a library, expanding the jail and quarters for the sheriff's department, expanding county office and courtroom space, speeding up road construction and purchasing park land beI fore it is all gone. The financial consultant will advise on the formulation of a long-rane capital needs program, recommend methods of financing, and, where financing I involves the sale of municipal I bonds, nerform a variety of I services. The proposed contract with Stauder, Barch and Associates of Grosse Pte.. Farms will be for two years to April 30, 1970, and the monthly retainer will be recommended to the board by its Ways and Means Committee. The other items include upgrading of the detention home superintendent and group foster homs supervisor, and creation of two new positions in the Juvenile División of Probate Court; appropriations for an employé information booklet and for attendance at a collective bargaining training course for supervisors and tors. The Ways and Means Commit- tee will meet Friday to consider requests of Dr. Otto K. Engelke, coimty health director, for $11,044 to opérate three additional half-day child care clinics each week from July 1, and for $5,463 to increase the pay of doctors and nurses who serve at all the department's clinics.
