The farmers' club met at C. C. Warner's on Friday last. ' William Alber christened his Iittle two-weeks-old son "Bennie Aaron" last Sunday. Walter Andrews, the Iittle son of Mrs. N. A. Wood, has been very ill with s'carlet fever, but is now improving. Last Sundny evening, A.A. Wooc had about forty bushei of oats stolen from his barn, also a new lap robe and horse blanket belonging to his hired man. The thieves were tracked as far as Ypsilanti the next morning but were not caught. While on his way to Saline with a load of wood last Saturday, Adam Clump met with what might have been a very serious accident. His load tipped over on him, pinning him to the ground. Luckily fo him his cries for help were soon heard and he escaped with a few bruises.
