Rbadino, Pa., Jan. 18.- ïbe joint committee of the Reading council and board of trade sent a lengthy memorial to President Corbin, asking him in the name of the business iuterests of the entire Schuylkill valley to use his best efforte to settle the minere' and railroaders' troubles. The memorial calis attention to the widespread trouble which will follow a continuance of the strike, as nearly the entire population of the valley is dependent upon the coal trafflc for ita bread. The memorialists offer their services in arbitration or other means of settlemeut.
