Two Cars Fall Ninety Feet

Pittsburg, Pa., Jan. 16.- At 1:30 o'clock Monday afternoon as a freight train on the Pittsburg, Cincinnati & St Louis road, was crossing the high bridge at Temperanceville station, just inside the city limits, eight freight cars left the track from a supposed sprung rail. Two cars fell to the street, ninety feet below, and were smashed to splinters. One man, a railroad employee, name unknown, in the caboose, was instantly killed, and another seriously injured.
