FIRES AND OTHER ACCIDENTS
The joint depot of the New York Central, Michigan Central, and Grand Trunk railways at Niagara Falls way burned Thursday at a loss of $50,000, several people living in the building having narrow escapes. Three snow-shovelers were killed Friday near Holyoke, Mass., on the Connecticut River road, by being run over by an express train.
