Letters From Our Readers on the Topic to be Voted Upon February 27th.
Editor Argus: - As many of our best business men, heavy tax-payers, and practical temperance men doubt the propriety of adopting local prohibition in Washtenaw at the present time, and as two of the counties adjoining will certainly try it, to-wit: Lenawee and Livingston, suppose we wait and see now the machine works there before we conclude to make any change. Three years time is not long to wait. Conservative. Ann Arbor, Feb. 21st, 1888.
