Boiler Not Used For Six Months

Rushville, Ind., May 1. - The boiler of Caldwell & Conde's mili exploded yesterday with deadly results. It had not been used since last fall. Mr. Caldwell was making a tour of inspection about 8 o'clock and found the inspirator somewhat defeetive. Norman E. Conde, a neighbor, had called to see the mili started, and was conversing with Caldwell wheu the explosión occurred. Both men were killed instantly. Joseph Lakin, an employé, had bis skull crushed, and is dying. Those seriously injured are: Leónidas Pea, Joseph Wade, Allen Lakin, Frank Frendrif (13 years oíd), and Jordán Calmes, colored.
