Gov. Gray Ready For The Lightning

Balttmohe, Md., May 30.- Tho nuapublishes an interview had in Indiauapolisyesterday by the chief of its Washington bureau with Governor Gray with regard to the vice presidency. Govemor Gray said that if he was thought worthy of that honor by the St. Louis con vention he would be deeply gratifled, would strive to show that the confldence wal merited, and would throw himself heart and soul into the campaign. He said also that whoever charged him with having been a Know-Nothing was a cowardly sneak and infamous liar.
