Children's day, as announced last week, will take place in University hall at 2:30 p m., wnere there vvill be sinaing of tour hj mns and addresses by Jiiflge arriman. President Angelí and llev. Dr. Earp. After the exercises the children vvill adjourn to the campus until 5.30, when they will disperse for their homes. The court house bell will ring at one o'clock p. m., at which time all the children of the different wards should be asseinbled at their respective schools. The sixth ward school with the Marshal and city band at the head, will leave their grounds at 1:15 p. m., and passing through the University campus by the diagonal walk to Sheehan's corner, join the flrst ward school, which will form behind them, going north on State street, they will pass the high school where the procession will be joined by the eighth grade pupils, who will form in the rear oí the flrst ward. Thence the procession will go north to Bowery st., then west to División, where it will be joined by the fourth ward, St. Thomas, and flfth ward schools in the order in which they are named. The procession will then move south on División st. to Ann, west on Ann st. to Fifth where the second and third ward schools will form in the rear of the second división, in the order named. From this point on the procession will be complete. The line will now move south on Fifth st. to Huron, then west on Huron to Fourth, north on Fourth to Ann, west on Ann st. to Main, south on Main to Liberty, east on Liberty to División, south on División to Jefferson, east on Jefferson to State, north on State to main entrance to the University Hall. Each ward and school are expected to be prompt in joining the processioii, so that there may be no delay. The flrst ward and eighth grade should time the starting in reference to the (ith ward. The fifth ward, headed by the Huron Band, should start at 1 :3U, go up Broadway and Detroit st. to División, up División, and from behind the St. Thomas school, which should start at 1 :45. The second ward shoulü leave their grounds at 1 :30, go north to Liberty st., on Liberty to second st., north on Secoud to Catharine, here the third ward, which has started at 1 :45, w ill form behind, The two wards will then move east on Catharine to Fifth, then south on Fifth to Ann where they will join the main procession. The Huron Band will have a position in the rear of the fourth ward. Each school will have a banner which will be carried at the head of the school. The line of march has been planned with a due oonsideration to the comfort of the children. Everythingr possible will be done to make this day one of the most pleasant of their lives. It is suggested that eitizens, along the route of the procession, decórate their residences and places of business, and in that way contribute to the pleasures of the day, Those who have teams and vehicles in the city, Saturday afternoon, are respectflly re(juested to keep them off the street, over which the line of march extends, at the time the procession is passing.
