L. Blinn drove to Ann Arbor the last of the week. Mr.Rouse is visiting at his farm in Lodi for a few days. Claud Chapín left Monday to visit friends in Owosso. Monday, Milan was treated to a fine refreshing shower. Miss Grace Huntington has a very interesting class in music. Mis. E. A. Reynolds is spending a few days with friends in Saline. Mrs. Ella Pinkham visited Ann Arbor friends the first of the week. Editor Smith is building a kitchen to his fine residence on First street. The Ann Arbor Argus is a welcome visitor at many of the Milan homes. Mr. Bennett is improving the appearance of his home and of County street. Miss Alice Harper and Miss Flossie left the 26th to visit friends in Scio. Mr. and Mrs. Homer drove to Detroit this week to visit friends for a while. The Presbyterian excursión Friday to Whitmore L,ake, was a very enjoyable event. Mrs.J. Sprague, of Ann Arbor, is the guest of her daughter Mrs. Q. R. Williams for a few days. Milan is quite full of guests from different cities enjoying the quiet and the heálthy atmosphere. Master Irwin Jacobs ceiebrated lis ninth birthday Tuesday by givng a social party to his many friends. The Saturday party of young pie f rom Milán ,who visitêd Whitinore Lake, reper. a very tnjoyable time. ' The Milán pcople have cause to teel quite proud oí the Milán cornet banu, vvlio certainly are playing fiiK-ly thís snmnier. J. H. Ford and vvife gave a pleasanc hule pariy tor seyeral young gutbts they are eutertaining. The band was in atlendance. Mr. and Mr. Pierce and daughter, of" VVeston, vvlio vvere the guests of ür. Chapin and tamily leít íor home Saturuay aíternoon. M aster VVillie Frind drives a real live goat and many of the Milán children as well as VVillie enjoy the treat, judging ñoin the foilovvers back ot the cart. The reports of the eclipse of the moon Sundaj' evening are many and varried. All seemed to enjoy it or themselves. Either there were several different eclipses Sunday evening or else people differ greatly in opinión. - Which? There are many buildings going up this summer in our progressive village, and our merchants have a jjoodly share of the peoples' patronage. Take it all in all, Milán is quite a desirable place to live.
