Topera, Kan., July 27.- The Uepublican tate convention, whieh began its session ■Vednesday, continuad its work yestorday. ?he convention nominated I. V. Humphrey, of Independence, for governor on the third allot. ïhe ticket was completed as follows: jieuteiiant governor, A. J. Feit; secretar? of state, William Higgins; auditor, T. J. McCarthy; treasurer, George Haniilton; attorney general, Charles Kellogg. The platform ndorses the nominees of the Chicago convenion ; demaniis the complete execution of ths iquor laws in all parts of the state; de nounces the Prohibition party ; favors pro ction in erery sense of the word, and heartüy iudorses the course of Senators Iugalls nd Plumb.
