Three Tourists Probably Drowned

Ikdian River, ilicb., Aug. il.- Oa Weduesday last, after a heavy gale, a wrecked saii boat carue ashofe on Burt lake. Strewn albng the bjacb, in the near vieinity, were iound provisions, tent, photographer's camera, satehel, three hats and one coat. A letter was iound in the coat pocket post marked "Battle Creek," addressed toa Mr. Morly, Petoskey, Mich. Three men in a sail boat left Oden, on Crooked lake, ana carne down Crooked river, and are reported to have started to cross Burt lake on the day of the disaster. It is supposed they were toürists, and the party, consisting of tbree men, were all drowned.
