Tar And Feathers

Clare, Mich., Aug. 14.- Charles Abbey, who is charged with a grave offense, was given a coat of tar and feathers Saturday night. The affair occurred as he was coming out of a dance hall on Main street, iu the business portiou of the town. He wasseized, his clothing torn off and the tar and feathers applied. He is still in town and no arrésts have been made, but the tar and feathers stick.
