A Boy's Frightful Fall

Grand Rapids, Mich., Oct. 1.- Roy Cummings, the 15-year-old son of Norman Cummings, climbed to the top of the Hydraulio companv's stand pipe early Sunday evening, using a ïrail iron ladder tbat extends up the side to the height of 100 feet. He started to come down, and was taken with alita few feet from the top. A companion who made the ascensión with him tried to hold bim, and called for assistance. No holp was near and the boy's strength gave out. Cummings feil to tbe ground and was instantly killed.
