Corn husking is under way with very good yield and quality. Pames l'roiu Ann Arbor make the the woods ring in quest of game. Eider Clark has preached his second sermón here to a lull house. Mr. and Mrs. Freeman, of Jackson couniy,are guests ot the Twamleys. The moles are working under the new sown wheat and doing much damage1 W. E. Stevenson is out again after his severc hurt Irom the iall from a pear tree. Mr. Wood sold to Mr. Glenn a nice lot of middle wool sheep a day or so ago. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Sill are visiting at Mr. Twamleys before going to live in Detroit. Mr. G. Palmer carne near losing one of his horses on Sunday last. It choked on dry, shelled oats.
