Receivers Of The M. K. & T. Road

Leavenworth, Kan., Oct. 8. - Judge Brewer, of the United States circuit court, has appointed Harrison C. Cross, of Emporia, and George A. Eddy, of Leavenworth, as receivers of the Missouri, Kansas & Texas railway. Mr. Cross is at present a director of the road. George A. E;idy is a Wholesale druggist of tuis city. Fort Scott, Parsons, and Sedalia have made applications to have the headquarters oL the receiver made al their respective points. Tiidir bonds have been placed at $20U,G00. Possessiou of the road is to be given Nov. 1.
