King for member of the tate board of education ran 32 ahead ot' Burt in this city. The vote om congressman was Stearns, 988; Allen, 959; Fellows, 90. There was plenty of slipping done. County Clerk Howlett caried the city by 222, Senator Gorman by 9, Treasurer Brehm by 182, Register Seery 8, while Martin had 52 plurality 'or sheriff, Lawrence 324 for prosecuing attorney, Sawyer 136 for represen;ative, John Schumacher lead the prohibition ticket in this city receiving 122 otes for state senator. TEARNS CARRIES WASHTENAW BY 868. Willard Stearns earried Ann Arbor ïtyby 29, while L. P. Allen carries Ypsilanti by 116. Allen received tiereen prohibition votes in thelürst ward n this city and he seems to have gotten hps on prohibition tickets throughout he district. Stearn's majorities in his city were second ward, 147; fourth ward, 31; Allen's were first ward, 52: hird, 10; flfth, 16; sixth, 72. Stearn's )luraJities in the county were Ann Arbor city, 29; Ann Arbortown,43; Bridgewater, 89; Dexter, 74; Freedom, 225; Lima, 31; Lodi, 185; Lyndon, 36; Manhester, 107; Northfield, 141; Saline, 41; Scio, 91; Sharon, 57; Superior, 12; ï'ork, 6; total 1,177. Allen's pluralities were Augusta, 43; Pittsfleld, 63; Salem, 42; Sylvan, 76; Webster, 85; Ypilanti town 84; Ypsilanti city, 116; total 509, leaving a net plurality for Stearns of 668. The ;otal vote in the county was Stearns 5,401, Allen 4,633, Fellows 374. Mr. Stearns ran up with Cleveland m ;his district but Allen received some prohibition slips and has a plurality ot 1,500. He carried Hillsdale by 1,600 and Lenawee by 800, while Mr. Stearns got 600 in Monroe. SENATOR GORMAN'S RUN. Senator Gorman has about 1,500 plurality in the district. Washtenaw gives iim 900. He carnes Ann Arbor city sy 80 and Cornwell carries Ypsilanti by 56. Gorman 's plurality in the second ward is 164 and in the fourth 37, well carries the first ward by 28, the third by 4, the fif th by 14 and the sixth by75. GREGORY'S PLURALITY 11. J. V. N. Gregory has 94 msjoritv for representative in the legislature, th8 vote standing 2630 for Gregory and 2536 for Sawyer. Sawyer carned the ürst ward in Ann Arbor city by Ü9, the third by 40, the fourth by 4, the fifth by 29 and the sixth by 111, while Gregory carried the second ward by 147, Sawyer carrying Ann Arbor city by 136. Gregory 'b majorities are 37, Ann Arbor town; 67, Dexter; 76, Lima; 8, Lyndon; 134, Northfield; 99, Scio; 17, Superior; total 438, Sawyer carries Ann Arbor city 136; Salem, 70; Sylvan, 56 and Webster, 64; total 326. Howlett leads the ticket in this county largely. He carries the citr of Ann Arbor by 223 while Case cames Ypsilanti by 30. Howlett's majority in the first ward is 25; second, 176; third, 26; fourth 69 and Case carries the ñfth by flve and the sixth by 68. In Ypsilanti Oase carries the first ward by 00, the second, 28; the third, 40; while lowlett canies the fourth bv 22 and he fifth by 116. He carries Ann Arbor city, first ward 66, third 43, flfth 21, sixth 75, while Dwyer carried the second by 136 and the fourth by 17. Ypsilanti city, first ward gives him 134; second 62 third 43 while Dwyer carries he fourth by 19 and the fifth 98. Dwyer's pluralities are, Ann Albor town 45, 3ridgewater, 96; Dexter, 163; Freedom, 225; Lima, Lodi, 182; Lyndon, 37; Manchester, 105; Northfield, 144; Saline, 38; Scio, 120; Sharon, 58; Superior, 25; York, 21; a total of 1299. While Augusta gave Martin 28; Tittsfield, 69; Salem, 44; Sylvan, 64; Webster, 90; Yp. silanti town, 99 and Ypsilanii city122, a total of 568, leaving Dwyer's net pluality 732. SEEHY'S PLUBALITY 95. Michael Seery carried the county for register of deeds by 967. He carried the city by 8 , Gardner carrying Ypsilanti by 16, Mr. Seery carried the second ward Ana Arbor by 102, the third bj 6, the fourth by 59. Gardner carried he flr8t ward by 72, th fifth by 6, the ixth by 81. In Ypsilanti Mr. Gardner carried the first ward by 100, the second 5 and the third 41, and Register Seery arded the fourth by 22 and the fifth by 28. Judge J. Willard Babbitt will occupy he Judge of Probate's office for the next four years. His plurality is 765. Vheeler carried the Qrst ward of Ann Arbor by 42, the third by 2, the fifth by , and the sixth by 84. Babbitt carried he second by 156 and the fourth by 32, eaving Babbitt 's plurality in Ann Arbor 52. Wheeler's plurality in Ypsianti city is 68. Wheeler carries the ürst, second and third wards by 116, 41 and 37 respectively, while Uabbitt carries the fourth by 13 and the fifth by 113. In Ypsilanti city Lawrence carries the ürst by 103, the second by 29, the third by 47, while Lehman carries the fourth by 22 and the fifth by 118. BREHM'S PLURALITY 117J. Gustave lirehm made a splendid run for county treasurer, carrymg the county by 1173. Ho carried Ann Arbor by 170 and Ypsilanti by 51. In thls city he carried the second ward by 185, the third by 12 and the fourth by 53. The first ward was a tie and the fifth gave Mr. Tuomey 19 and the sixth 61. Brehm's pluralitis were Ann Arbor city, 170; Ann Arbor town, 42; Bridjewater, 96; Dexter, 78; Freedom, 225; .Lima, 46; Lodi, 181; Lyndon, 36, Manchester, 124; Northüeld, 175; Saline, 41; Scio, 94; Sharon, 60; Superior, 19; York, 35; and Y psilanti city, 61; a total of 1503. Mr. Tuomey's pluralities were Augusta, 31; Pittsfleld, 67; Salem, 33; Sylvan, 63; Webster, 90 and Ypsilanti town, 56; total 330, leaving Brehm a net plurality of 1,173. ELECTION NOTES, There are no fliea on the second ward. Ypsilanti cast 1398 votes for president this year. The prohibition vote in the county has fallen off largely. Ann Arbor town did nobly. It was a democratie revolution. Ann Arbor city, democratie gams. Ypsilanti city, republican gains. Burt ran six behind the democratie state ticket in Ann Arbor town. Jack Loney tried on a mail carriers suit yesterday to see how it fltted. What's the matter with the third ward? Well, the returns look funny. Burt received 6 more majority than ,he rest of the democratie state ticket n Lodi. Luce's plurality in Ypsilanti town was 18 larger than that of the balance of the republican ticket. The only vote John II. Ilobart received fer congress was in the iifth ward, where one man voted for him. Charles E. King carried Ypsilanti town for member of the .board of education by 30, gaining 104 on the head of the ticket. Burt ran 14 anead of the state ticket in the second ward of this city, 5 in the third ward and 21 in the sixth while Luce ran four anead in the flrst. Although Ypsilanti city gives Luce 42 plurality, Charles E. King carries it for member of the state board of education by 154. Mr. King runs about 300 ahead in the county. The city with the exception of the fourth ward cast 438 votes in favor of the banking law and 28 against it. Ann Arbor town, Lodi, Pittsfleld and Ypsilanti town cast 84 yes and 118no. The city with the exception ot the 'ourth ward cast 145 votes in favor of the licial amendment and 9 against it. The towns of Ann Arbor, Lodi, Pilt3field and Ypsilanti cagt 26 votes in favor and 153 votes against it. Luce's plurality in Pittsfleld is 1 larger than the pluralities or the rest of the republican state icket. iïhat's because several of Platt's demociatic friends wanted him eappointed state oil inspector.
