The loalities so far heard from are Republicau strongholds. Tbe Republiean plurality, iL any, will be small. If the present ratio of Republiean gains is continued turoughout the state tbe Republi;an plurality will be about 2,000. Two hundred and twenty precinctseityand state, show net Republiean gain of 1,322. One hundred and forty precinc s in Indiana give Harrisou $17,451 ; Cleveland, 14,212. Same preemete in 18t4 gave Blaiue 16,346; Cleveland, J3.754. Net Republican gain, 653. Lateb.- At 3 o'clock this morning the tide seemed to have set in the direction of a Republican vietory. The preciuot returns cover the various eounties fairly well, erabraeing many of the strong Democratie eounties. A bout one-tenth of the total vote is in, seeming to indícate a Republican plurality of over i,0M. Following are some of the returns received: Fifty procinots in this state give Harrison 5,846; Cleveland, J.6S1. The same precinets inJS84gave Blaine 5,536; Cleveland, 4,470. Net Republican gain, 119. Harrison carries Montgomery county by about 200. Republican gain of 150 over 1S84. Hendricks county 1,200 Republiean plurality. Republican gain of 270. Fartia! returns from St. Jo county indícate 400 Republican gain. Orange county nearly complete gives Harrison 300 plurality. Cleveland's plurality in 1-84 was 2:i Entire Rupublicau county ticket elected. O'Neil ,Dem., in Second congressional district, probably defeated for reelection by Braxton, Rep. Terre Haute - This county gives Harrison about 400 plurality. Same county in '84 gave Blaine H4. Brazil - Large Republiean gain. Jasper- Democratie plurality in Dubois county estimated at 1,700; wa3 1,699 in 1884. Sixty precincts in the state give Harrison 7,074; Cleveland, 5,903. Net Republicao gain, 292. Complete returns from Benton eounty give Harrison 320 majority. No change. Eight precincts in this, Marión, county give net Republican gain of 53. Eighty state precincts show a net Republicac gain of 82. It will take an average of 4 to eaeh of the 1,7 73 preeiucts to carry the state for Harrison.
