Jenkins. of Jaekson, visited his father, over Sunday. Dr. V. C. Vaughan bas been in Mi[waukee, Wisconsin,this week. Mr. and Mrs. Olcutt, of Hurley,Wi8., are visiting Mrs. J. N. Bailey. MissOnie Williams, of Milan, is visiting Mr. and Mrs. J. Sprague. Mr. Bent and August Roehm, of thi9 city, spent Thursday in Detroit. Prof. Delos Fall, of Albion, visited his brother, D. C. Fall this week. ' Mrs. C. Burt, of West Huron street, will spend a few weens with friends east. Arthur Brown was called to Flint laat Saturday by the death of a half aister. A. L. Noble was called te Albion, N. Y. thia week by thedeath of his fatherin-law. C. W. Mellor was called back from Lansing Wednesday by the illness of his wife. Mis. Charles S. Millen and Mrs. MagofBn were ')exter visitors, Wednesday and yesterday. Dewitt C. Fall has been on the slok list this week. Claience Bailey has returned to this city, from Midland, which he reports a liltle too cold for him. C. II. Millen wentto Chicago, Wednesday, to spend a week with his daughter, Mrs. Giles Lewis. Mr. aud Mrs. Kobert Howlett, oï Lyndon, spent Sunday with their son, County Clerk Howlett. Mrs. Payne, who bas resided on south Fif th street for some months, has re turned to her home in Texas. There will be a social hop at the State street academy of dancing, ïhanksgivingafternoon, from 3 to 6. Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Walker, Chase Dow and Chris. Fïitz, have returned from their deer hunt in the upper peninsula. Mr. and Mrs. S. S. Blitz and S. Langsdorf, attended the wedding anuiversary of Mr. Blitz's brother, L. iJlitz, in Detroit Wednesday. l'resident and Mis. Angelí, gave a large and delightful reception, Tuesday eveniug in honor of Hon. and Mrs. G. V. N. Lorthiop, of Detroit. Mrs. Chas. Dietas, Mrs. John Waaner and daughter, of this city, visited at Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schulz aud Chas. F. Dietas in Detroit, last Thursday, Mrs Dietas staying a few days.
