Reed City, Mich., Nov. 2.- About two weeks ago F. D. Laey sprinkled sonie ilour on the rooster's nek to stop tbe flow of blood, and apparently tbe roosier is as happy, liveiy and contented as wben be had his üead. He is fed througb a tube. His neck is healing over, and be does not seem to suffer any pain whatever, eats heartily, feels frisky and endeavors to crow. Lacy had bim photgraphed aud has refused an otter of $'.00 for him.
