M'lle. Ithea, tlian whorn no actress that visits our city is a greater favorite, will play an all too brief an engagement here of one night only, Saturday, December ]5, wheri she will present Shakspeare's comedy of, "Much Ado About JSTothing," in which she impersonates, in her own inimitable manner, that spriglitly heroine, "Beatrice' as only she can. To great histrionic talent, Rhea has a charm of manner all her own. 2sTo actress who visits us is so Rieat a favorite either professionally or socially; and as her support is always of the best, our citizens always feel sure of adelightful performance. As ahandâ–  nedresser. too. she always excels; her aowns are of the richest material and latest designs: most of them brought from Europe by Rliea herself, during her annual visits. This is mentioned particulariy because it is a subject dear to every woman's heart, qnd what woman doesn't want to know the latest styles. M'lle. Ilhea always surrounds herself with an excellent company, indeed it is necessary to her plays, but none the less pleasant, on that account. Mr. VVm. Harris, a favorite throughout the country, is her leading support, and will play JJenedick. Miss Ida Waterman, Mr. Charles A. McManus and others will complete a most excellent cast of a brilliant comedy. Need it be added that a large and fashionable audience is sure to be present.
