Mis. John Brower is very sick with pneumonía. Quarterly meeting next Sunday, Rev. H. Palmer the pastor, officiates. There will be a Christmas tree at the M. E. church on Christmas eve. Between fifty and sixty attended the necktie social held at Mr. Frank Bush's on Wednesday evening, Dec. I2th. Mr. Frank Bourns will lecture at the M. E. church ncxt Fnday evening on "The Philippine Islands." He visited the islands in companv with Prof. Steere, and is engaged by the Ladies' Aid Society to teil us about it. AU the readers of the Argus should teil their friends about the presents to be given away by the Argus to the ones lucky enough to guess the right numbers between now and the first of February one dollar will get the Argus for one year and a chance to get a valuable present.
