Ijscolk, Neb., Jan. 5. - The party sent out from Pine Kidge to bring in the ludían dead bodies ou tho field of Wounded Knee found 108 lying on the field. An at tempt was made to remove the dead to Piue Ridgti Agency, bat befare the task was completcd the rescuing party was attacked by v roving band of hostiles and driven aw.iy. It was the flring consequent on the attock that oaused the report oí a battle öatarday night. No one was hurt amons the troops. The Indians objected to the burial of their dead by their palefaccd fops.
