Des Moixks, Jan. 6.- The newly elected state officials entered upon their duties yesterday. Secretary of State McFarland succeeds Frank D. Jackson, and Capt. Twombly turned over the office of treasurer to Gen. Beeson; Auditor tyons succeeds himself. There was no form or ceremonv.
