A delightful series of tableaux were put upon the boards of the opera house last evening, in BenHur. A good audience was present and thoroughly enjoyed the tableaux. Prof. Trueblood, before each tableau, read the descriptive passages from Ben-Hur in a manner to charm the audience. The local amateurs who took part did excellently. The youngjladies were very pretty. The gentlemen showed to good advantage. The costumes were elegant and the scenery good. Almost everyone who was present last evening will attend to-night, when an entirely different though equally as good series of tableaux will be shown. Many more should crowd the house. It is better than a play, and a decided novelty in Ann Arbor amusements. Annual mark-down sale at Randall's will continue througb January.
