A. G. Mclntyre made a business trip to Chicago, last week. Mrs. Amos Hall is still very sick with little hope of recovery. Claude Browner was home on a visit to his mother last week. Mr. and Mrs. Conrad, of Dexter, are here, visiting their brother. The infant daughter of Charles and Jennie Kanouse died Feb. 22. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, at the Baptist church. The social that was to be held at Henry Hammonds', last Friday, vas postponed on account of the weather, but will be held this Friday evening. Elisha Hiscock, who lived with his son 12 miles south of this place, died of oíd age, Feb. 2oth. He was 97 years oíd, and was a pensioner of the war of 1812. The funeral was held Sunday, at the Methodist church, sermón by Eider Palmer.
