Wliile yet the harvest fields are wliite, And few the toiling reapers stand, Called from h8 task before the night, We miss the niightiest of the band. Oh thou of strong yet gentle mind! Thy thrilling voice shall picad no more For truth, for freedom, and mankind; The lesson of ihy life is o'er. Bat thou, in f.ii,'htness far above The fairest dream of human thought, Before the Seat of Power and Love, Art with the Truth that thou hast sought.
