In appreciation of his services to the city of Saline, members of the Saline Woman's club have prepared a handmade quilt to be presented to the automobile manufacturer. Bring On Your Fires: Equipped with a fire truck of the latest model and one of which few communities of its size can boast, Milan is prepared for almost anything in the way of a fire. The truck, a gift to the village from Henry Ford, was designed and built in the Dearborn laboratories of the Ford Motor Co. Shown with the truck are, left to right: Arlie Squires, village clerk; Lloyd Tooman, member of the council; and Fire Chief J. T. Clark.
