KIWANIANS PRESENT AUDIOMETER TO RACKHAM SCHOOL: A new audiometer was given to the Rackham School of Special Education in Ypsilanti yesterday by the Ypsilanti Kiwanis Club. The equipment, which replaces an obsolete model, will be used to checkhearing of Rackham pupils and to aid hard-of-hearing children in other Ypsilanti schools. Future teacers enrolled at Michigan State Normal College will also be trained in useof the audiometer. Here, Marilyn Weeks, instructor in the Rackham primary deaf department, demonstrates the audiometer with four-year-old Linda Bruce. Watching (left to right) are Carroll Curtis, Kiwanis vice-president; T. S. Weber, immediate past-president of the club; and Dr. Morvin A. Wirtz, Rackham director.
