Little, six-year-old Jimmy Baldrighi uses some of his birthday money to buy a book at a fund-raising book fair held by the VITS, a teen-age club for students in the Bach, Jones and Mack Schools area. Tiny Nichole Hale, 4, looked happy with the world Friday as she sat on Santa Claus' knee and received Yule gifts from the Ann Arbor Police Department financed through the " Pig Bowl" game between police and sheriff's deputies. Ann Arbor Policewoman Martha Parks brought gifts for Nichole and 31 other four-year-olds who attend the pre-school program at Jones School. Santa is Dr. Lawrence Gary, an assistant professor of social work at the U-M.

Dunbar Center Group Will Dance: Three of the performers in the Song and Dance Festival to be staged by 75 Dunbar Community Center members in the Jones School auditorium at 8:30 tonight are, left to right, the Misses Cleo Owens, Tidal Delco, and Delores McCants. The trio is a part of the "junior grouP -- one of six units that will perform under the direction of Miss Rosamund Dunn and Mrs. Virginia W. Ellis, members of the Dunbar Center staff. The festival is open to the public.

Two Jones school pupils, Stanley Burns, 12, and Le Roy Baker, 13, get a preview of the prizes which Ann Arbor's four schools with the best Bond-selling records during the current Fourth War Loan campaign will receive for the schools trophy cases. The helmets which the boys are wearing and holding in their hands were captured in the North African campaign last summer.
