HAVE PATIENCE - Drivers on Plymouth Road between US-23 and Nixon Road won't be riding rough much longer, although they will have to put up with construction for a while during resurfacing. Some lanes have already been resurfaced and are open to traffic.

Bouvelard Fattened Up: Here's an aerial view of part of that section of W. Stadium Blvd. between S. Main St. and Pauline Blvd. which is being widened from two to four lanes. Like the part shown in front of Ann Arbor High School, the entire added width already is in use, although final surfacing work remains to be done. The city's plans call for Stadium eventually to be widened all the way to Maple Rd., with Maple also to be widened to Miller Ave. This view looks east.

Work is moving along on the widening and resurfacing of W. Huron under State Highway Department contract. Shown here is a section of newly-laid curbing in the 400 block of W. Huron St. looking east toward the Ann Arbor Railroad grade crossing, the point at which the improvement program begins. The work will encompass all of W. Huron St. from that point west and will continue on Jackson Rd. to a point 300 feet beyond Glendale Ave.
